Visalia, CA June 25-28

Here are some random pictures of us while we were at Danny's parents home in Visalia, CA.

Nomi & Emily are all dressed up to do a ballet dance video!

Isaiah is busy with a car...but Jonah wanted to join in the dressing up, too.

It's always fun when Dad's in the kitchen, especially when he's making milk shakes!

Grandpa shares his dinner with Isaiah. They're buddies.

Two cuties in my lap: Isaiah and his cousin, Allie. Soon we'll have our own little girl!

Emily, Naomi, Aunt Kelley, and Jonah relaxing in the pool.

Now Isaiah decided to join in the fun of dressing up...Dad will have to talk with him about that.

Hume Lake Cabin

Matt, Mary Ann & Malisse Busby (Laurie's sister & family) joined us on our annual trip to Danny's parent's cabin in the Sequoia National Park. We spent most of our week out on the deck relaxing, watching the kids and eating. We did get out and swim in the lake, went to the snack shop for milk shakes, played games, watched movies, ate good food, listened to a great speaker, played frisbee golf, and just had a good time with family.

Naomi and Danny went exploring one day. They found a nest of quail eggs, and even brought home a baby rubber boa snake. (I'm not to sure about the snake.)

The Busby family
Sorry these are all the pics....guess we were too busy relaxing to take pics. :)

Alaska

Danny & I had the opportunity to go on a cruise to Alsaska with Danny's parents, brother and his spouse, and sister and her spouse. We were blessed by 7 days away from our crazy kids. We relaxed, ate way too much, saw beautiful scenery, and just enjoyed ourselves. It was a vacation to always remember.

Juneau, Alaska

We went up a gondola to get a great view.

Danny is in gray shirt, 2nd from the right. He decided to pick a slightly steep hillsided to slide down on his backside!

Here's the hill that caused Danny some pain & wet jeans, but no injuries.
This is the back of our ship.

We saw so many bald eagles. I was amazed at how close to civilization they were.

Skagway, Alaska

Below: We got to go on a jeep tour of that took up way up North into the Yukon Territory. It was so amazing.

The family: Danny & Laurie, Josh & Kelley, Cameron & Natalie, Rod & Joan

This mirror lake (above) was so fabulous.

We saw a few carribou, which the guide said was quite unusual. We felt privileged.

We traveled into some fjords and saw some icebergs. Notice their turquoise color!

Even the scenery from the ship on the way home was great.
